Safari is simply magical! The name Safari means Journey, or Expedition from Swahili language. While usually in various parts of Africa, it can be anywhere. Tiger Safaris in India, Kangaroo Safaris in Australia, Gorilla Safaris in Rwanda, Whale Safari in Alaska - and there are so many more options. In the past, the trip was often a big-game hunt, but today, safaris are often to observe and photograph wildlife—or hiking and sightseeing, as well.
